Despite how opinionated I am about my political views, and the fact that I've gotten into heated shouting matches with friends who are on the opposite end of the isle, I've never ended a friendship over differing views. This includes "hot-button" issues with me such as civil liberties, gay rights, and the death penalty.

It is conceivable that I would do so, however, with someone of Neo-Nazi viewpoints.
So these two guys came to the door asking for Spanish speaking people. Given that I really don't have any friends in the complex (although all are pretty friendly), I told them that I didn't know which of them spoke Spanish. He then told me that he was looking for Spanish speaking people to encourage them to read the Bible.

I guess this means the Bible was never translated into English. *snicker*

Apparently it is unusual that I can name all nine justices on the Supreme Court, who appointed them, and which way they lean. Just read that less than half of the people could even say how many justices we have.

Worse, just a little over half could name a single case that the court has heard, and mostly because of Roe v. Wade (which is not a means of crossing the SF Bay).

To say that I find this disappointing is an understatement. You would think that people would want to know who has a third of governmental power, only divided among nine people, appointed for life would be. (Awkward way of saying that, but I think you get the drift.)

*Hits people over the head for not paying attention in their HS polisci courses*

This requires investigation.

Does anyone know the 1977 Mikhail Baryshnikov version of the Nutcracker? In that version, there was a dance that the "Moor" clockwork doll did. That is the piece I'm looking for. If not, then I need to find something else to yo-yo to.

My playtests on my deck were good, and I was off to a great start tonight.

Then it turns out that I misread a key card in the combo. I've been glossing over ONE WORD on a card that made all the difference in the world. Because of that, I went from having an okay fun deck to having to struggle to show up to matches. What's worse? I've been glossing over that ONE WORD ("Nontoken" if anyone wants to know) for TWO YEARS.

(This part edited out for whiny profanity)

I'm such a bloody idiot sometimes!
